Frequently Asked Questions
What do your custom wedding cakes cost?
There are many variables when it comes to setting a price for a cake – the complexity of design, the number of servings, among other things. Because each cake features a custom design to meet the needs of our clients, there is no set price on custom cakes and are individually priced based on your cake come true. Because of the quality of ingredients, special care and skill that goes into each custom designed wedding cake, we require a minimum of $800 for custom wedding orders. Our pricing typically averages between $9-$15 a serving.
I just want a small and simple wedding cake; do you have options for me without a required minimum?
Yes! We understand that not everyone will require a large custom wedding cake, so we have created our “Simple Choice Collection” cakes that are pre-designed/semi customizable and not subject to the minimum. These cakes start at $7 a serving.
Do you make sheet cakes?
For additional servings in accompaniment to your tiered cake, we can provide supplemental kitchen cakes. Kitchen cakes are non decorated cake tiers that will match the slices of your multi tiered cake when sliced. We do not provide sheet cakes.
Do you offer cake tastings?
We offer a 1 hour exclusive cake tasting experience and consultation for up to 4 people by appointment only. There is a non-refundable fee of $50 and must be paid at least 3 days in advance and will be applied towards the balance if booked with us. We offer a set menu of our most popular flavors and fillings. We recommend that you contact us at least 4-8 months before your wedding to ensure availability for your wedding date. After we’ve had a chance to discuss your wedding and our process, we’ll schedule a cake tasting and design consultation.
I don’t want to have a full tasting experience; can I just buy a piece of cake?
If you are planning a wedding, we highly recommend that you treat yourself to the full tasting experience. But if you would like to just have a taste without the experience, we have a Grab & Go case with a variety of ready made cake slices, as well as small cakes and other cake items for purchase. This is a great option for our “Simple Choice Collection” clients. You can visit our shop during our open hours to see what is available. Do you make other celebration cakes?
Absolutely! We love to help with special events throughout the year. Birthday cakes, baby shower cakes, bridal party cakes, groom's cakes, corporate events and more. There is a minimum of $150 for any custom special occasion cake. Our custom creations typically start at $7 a serving. There is a $500 minimum for any hand sculpted/carved cake. The final design will determine the final cost. Please email us here for more information by clicking here. Don’t need a custom cake? Be sure to check out our “Signature Cakes” that we will try to keep stocked in our case, or they can be ordered with 48 hour notice.
Do you offer cupcakes and other desserts?
We offer something better! We carry our signature "Cakelette". It's like a cupcake and a cake had a baby...lol We will also have a variety of delicious treats, like cake parfaits, edible cookie dough, cake popsicles, keto/sugar free friendly desserts and more! We will have a rotating menu, so be sure to sign up for our newsletter by clicking here and follow us on social media to keep up to date on new flavors and events.
Do you deliver?
We offer delivery for cake 3 tiers or more, unless special arrangments are made. We service all over Colorado. Delivery fee is based on the final destination. There is always the option to make arrangements for pick up at our shop. Because cakes are a fragile item, we always recommend having us deliver any cake that is 3 tiers or more.
Do you offer classes?
Yes! We periodically will hold workshops throughout the year with intermediate and advanced classes. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on these events. Click Here
